I am sorry but the fact is, as said by some one, we have become a community of "Havans and Bhavans". You will find people from our community thronging havans and bhawans and discussing trivial issues, which have no relevance to the present situation and condition of ours. Tell the same people to meet again but for greater issues like our safe and honourable return of ours that too on our terms and conditions, the ensemble is gone or gets vanished in thin air. Worse, you find these very people talking about the situation of KP's and the so-called solutions of our woes being discussed over cup of teas and snacks. This is the attitude of many of us and we think, in this way, we will be very soon going back to Kashmir. I can only laugh it out, that too loudly. We have become too materialistic and have developed narrow tunnel mindset as well as vision. Having said so, doesn't mean we ought not to earn and be affluent. This is our right, as we have had enough of poverty that too forcibly thrust on us. But the need of the hour is to start working for the community, be it at individual or collective levels. Some thing visible has to be started and there upon disseminated and/or percolated in all directions.
Gone are the days when we, KP's, were having a broader outlook, based on ground realities, a vision and a road map. Today, we are disintegrated as well as disillusioned, that too, a lot, for reasons obvious. We are acting exactly like the crabs, who don't allow the other crab to come out of the basket to set himself free. The time, I would say rather high time, has come that we should shed our inhibitions, age old thrusted upon slave mentality, keeping our personal differences apart and come out openly with 1. Suggestions, ideas (I would like out of box ideas), 2. Our goals, immediate and long term, 3. Ways and means to achieve the same, 4. Chalking out a plan for finances, this is of utmost importance, 5. Linking up with other Hindu groups / organisations, who are also facing many problems, not exactly of our kind, but similar to that of ours, 6. Clubbing of all social and political organizations under one “Mega Banner”, which in turn will helps us have one voice, which will say, in lay mans parlance, talk, walk, eat, read, speak, sleep "KP, KP & KP". (These are few options which have come up in my mind and later on other options can be added/incorporated.)
Is it that difficult, when many among us have attained so many heights in the corporate, social, technological, arts, et all worlds? When we can do the above, what is stopping us to start a meaningful, long-term, and well-planned with well defined road map and milestones set, “Fight” for our return to our age old mother-land. I am of firm belief that KP's are second to none. History is witness. We were on zenith at social, political, economic, scientific, fine arts, philosophy, etc., etc, before the onset of the Evil Cult. World is coming back to us, acknowledging our age old inventions, discoveries, experience based only on hard core in-depth analysis done by our fore-fathers, whom we, unfortunately, don't even care to remember and forget about remembering their contributions, which they made not only for us, but for the whole of humanity. Our fore-fathers had a broader vision and outlook and hence worked for whole of whole of the humanity because of the fact that they already knew about this world and how it works. They knew there is only one "Param-Atma", which is supreme & above all and He/She is kind and gracious enough to keep everyone under His/Her “Chatra Chaya”, whatever the circumstances are/be. It is “He/She”, who commands us, assigns everyone of us our responsibilities and after performing our duties (Death), He/She allows us to get merged within Him/Her because of the fact that We are Him/Her and Him/Her are We.
We have to start the fight and the fight won't be easy at all. Evil forces in the shape of Evil Cults (I hope you understand what I mean to say) will always be after us to foil our plans. It will be a long long fight, which we have to fight, not only for ourselves but for whole of the humanity. And it won't be an ordinary fight. It will be a fight between Good and Evil. Our fight will set/lay foundation stone for the long fight, which will be fought over a period of time. We will have to make sacrifices and those sacrifices will be worthwhile. We, our children and maybe our grandchildren may not live to see the new light full of life, promises and what not. Imagine the scene, when the fight/war of Good over Evil is won! How our future generations will feel elated and free. River of real joy and life will flow all over the world. Ponder Over It.
